Recently had a baby?

Welcome home and congratulations on the birth of your baby ...

At the Lanfranc Medical Centre we are delighted to help you look after yourself and your family. Your baby needs to be registered with a GP. If you would like to register with us you will need to bring the baby's birth certificate and the NHS number (NHS number can be found on baby's Red Book) to the surgery.

You will be able to see a practice nurse or GP. This is a good opportunity to get the baby weighed and vaccinated and to meet other new parents. You will be invited to the surgery for the 6 to 8 weeks check for the baby and immunisations, usually starting at 8 weeks.

If your baby is unwell please don’t bring a sick child to the baby clinic. Ring the surgery and ask for an appointment; always available on the same day if needed.
